Grand Hotel De Djokja - Yogyakarta

We loved the location of this hotel! It was right across from the train station and at the center of the main tourist street. It was so convenient to be able to explore the city and easily access public transportation from here.

We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

Location, hotel may be old but interior is still ok , breakfast is very good, staff is excellent n helpful, prices of drinks can be reduced for sure, u dial 14022 n u can order kfc to be delivered to ur room... Small spa, but good lobby for meetings n gamelan show... I am happy for the price I pay

I have enjoy my stay at the Inna Garuda, a quiet circumstance despite in the central of city. I have a good experience in Malioboro street at the evening, and then a good and quiet sleep at the night,

It's very good if the hotel has a free internet hotspot, that can be accessed from the room, or free internet conection in the room

Convenient location, helpful staff, diverse breakfast, Art Deco facade, comfortable rooms, currency exchange.

very very good location

i was there for 2 days, day 1,Iam enjoyed, but for day 2 i called the house keeping already 3 times but the respond was slowly and they are not clean my room, the windows was fall down, the handle on the shower cant turn off and when i breakfast i eaten expired noodles then they are change with new one.

This hotel is in a great location right in the heart of Malioboro street, where all the action happens. It's across from Tugu station, making it convenient for travelers. The rooms have been recently refurbished and have a new style, with balconies and bathtubs for maximum comfort. The staff is friendly and provides excellent service. The breakfast spread is impressive, with a good selection of Javanese options.

Location very good,direct at Jalan Malioboro, THE shopping and dining street.Price very low for such a hotel.They arrange small group trips (max. 8 persons) to Borobudur combined with Prambanan etc. Free shuttle to airport.

The breakfast and the pool were the best parts of the stay. Breakfast was delicious with a good mix of Western and local options. The pool area was cozy and inviting, perfect for lounging on a hot day. The hotel was also conveniently located within walking distance of a major shopping district and train station.

The rooms were not soundproofed well, so I was disturbed by outside street noise and even announcements from nearby stations. The room itself was also quite cramped and in need of an update.

The best location. Grande old dame hotel in the very middle of Jogya. Friendly and helpful staff. Extensive breakfast buffet, but not Western. WiFi was good in the room and free.

The Muslim call to prayer is very close, and a bit disturbing at 5am.

Clean, big and comfortable room. Breakfast is really a feast.

Those prefering European-American food would hardly find it in the breakfast buffet.

Amazing Location and Friendly Service

During my recent stay at a hotel in Yogyakarta, I was blown away by the perfect location right on Malioboro street. It was so convenient to explore the heart of the city without needing any transportation. The hotel itself is huge and has beautiful surroundings with a pleasant fragrance.

In terms of drawbacks, I did encounter a few minor issues. There were some inconveniences with the bathroom, such as a slow draining bathtub and slight cleanliness issues.

Excellent location near Malioboro street with excellent breakfast menu and friendly staff. Parking lot is very convenient.

The room we stayed in somewhat smelled smokey while we booked for a non-smoking room. The AC was somewhat "warm" even though we had set it for minimum temperature.
